Dutch luxury yacht builder Amels is hosting its 55-metre Limited Editions superyacht Gene Machine (180 ft) at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show’s Superyacht Pavilion from 31 October to 4 November.

The yacht’s American owner has kindly agreed to showcase the Amels 180 as a fantastic example of the six designs in the Amels Limited Editions range. A number of new Limited Editions superyachts are now under construction at the Amels yard in the Netherlands and available for delivery as fast as 2020.

Sharing unforgettable moments and relishing the free spirit of yachting has made Gene Machine one of the world’s best known superyachts. Thousands of fans follow the yacht’s adventures through their social media channels. In Fort Lauderdale Amels clients can step on board and see Gene Machine for themselves.

“Hosting Gene Machine in Fort Lauderdale is a fantastic opportunity to share the experience of owning an Amels with our clients,” says Rose Damen, Amels Managing Director. “Gene Machine has an adventurous owner who has really made the most of his Amels 180 to see amazing places in the world with his family.”

In between her travels, Gene Machine has returned several times to the Amels yard for the yacht’s 5 year special survey, service and owner-requested modifications with the Amels Refit team.

Amels and Damen are also exhibiting the Damen Yacht Support vessel AXIS. Visitors are also welcome at the Amels and Damen stand in the Superyacht Pavilion.
