Sea Wave, from Royal Huisman, to be delivered to Taiwanese owner

Royal Huisman have announced that Sea Eagle, the 43 metre superyacht is en route to her owner, Dr. Samuel Yin, in Taiwan as scheduled.

Over the last few weeks the yacht has had its mast installed and has undergone sea trials in the North Sea.

Sea Eagle will be the last yacht be launched from the Vollenhove shipyard’s climate-controlled paint hall before building extensions and new investments get underway this summer.

The extensions, scheduled to be completed by the autumn, will prepare the way to increase the workflow between construction and finishing on yachts of up to 90m / 300ft in one hall and up to 60m / 200ft in another three. Both paint halls are fitted with high intensity lighting, air flow, temperature and humidity controls that exceed the stringent requirements of all the major paint manufacturers.

Bart J. Kimman, director of Northrop & Johnson Asia, has been responsible for bringing this project to fruition.
