Wealth-X, the global authority on wealth intelligence, and Camper & Nicholsons have formed a knowledge partnership that will result in a first-of-its-kind report on the world’s ultra wealthy and the luxury yachting sector.

The strengths of the two firms in wealth and yachting intelligence power the collaboration, and the sharing of information and expertise will result in a report that is informative and educational for prospective and existing charter guests and yacht owners.

Due to be published in the first quarter of 2016, the report will primarily focus on yachts being the ultimate experiential luxury offering. Various sector specialists discuss a cross selection of ultimate luxury experiences, products and services, resulting in a combined analysis of the world of luxury and the ultimate experiential offering – the luxury superyacht.

The report will analyse new build, brokerage and charter market sectors for 2015 against previous years and profile both buyer and charter clientele – providing knowledge-based insight into market trends and forecasts.

Mykolas Rambus, CEO, Wealth-X said: “We are pleased to collaborate with Camper & Nicholsons in a Knowledge Partnership that brings together the global leaders in wealth intelligence and luxury yachting activities respectively. This partnership underscores Wealth-X’s commitment to providing unparalleled insights on the world’s wealthy and luxury yachting in a report that is essential reading for those who want to understand this segment.”

Paolo Casani, President, Camper & Nicholsons International said: ‘The landmark study will show the realities of the superyacht industry, and provides a snapshot of the industry’s three segments (new construction, brokerage and charter). This, combined with the wealth of knowledge on luxury markets provided by Wealth-X, provides information that we have no doubt will be extremely interesting for clients and potential clients of Camper & Nicholsons. We are both proud and delighted to be working with the leading experts in wealth intelligence to publish the first Knowledge Report of its kind.”
