Italian shipbuilder Ferretti has launched the first of its new Planing Series vessels, the Custom Line Project 120′.

The yacht was built for an American owner and is expected to have its worldwide premiere early 2018.

Project 120′ is a 39 metre vessel with a semi-displacement hull constructed from glass reinforced plastic (GRP), collaboratively designed by architect Fransesco Paszkowski and Ferretti. The yacht can accommodate 10 guests in five cabins, comprising the main deck master cabin, two VIP cabins and two double cabins.

Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi, the groups senior management team, and the project sales and engineering team were present at the yachts technical launch at the Ferretti Group shipyard in La Spezia.

Official delivery to its owner is expected at the end of 2017, where it will set sail to the United States for a worldwide premiere in Miami, Florida. Following the premiere, the yacht will be available for charter in the Caribbean.
