Game Changer joins Edmiston’s charter fleet

The 72.25m 2017 Damen-built explorer, Game Changer, has joined the Edmiston charter fleet. The vessel recently completed an ocean research circumnavigation and a major refit in 2020.

Game Changer offers a PADI 5 star dive centre, which includes dive equipment for up to 12 guests, and a crew trained for world-cruising, expedition charters and wildlife adventures. Among her toys, she has a three-person custom-built C-Researcher submarine by U-Boat Worx with WASSP sonar, which can travel to depths of 1,140m.

Game Changer also comes with numerous tenders including a 12m Intrepid, a ROV (Remote Operated Vehicle) for research and filming, a 8m custom-built Landing Craft and a six-person Airbus helicopter.

Onboard, there is room for up to 11 guests and 16 crew. Five guest cabins include a master suite and two further guest cabins on the upper deck, and two additional cabins on the main deck.

Additionally, she comes with space for three extra cabins to accommodate six support staff, such as ice pilots or adventure guides and filmmakers. The interior is designed by Struik & Hammerslag.

In 2020, Game Changer underwent a 10-month refit, which saw the entire stern remodelled, including an extension to accommodate a new swim platform and a heated beach club.

Game Changer’s plans for summer 2021 are open and the vessel is currently available to charter between the Caribbean and Central America. In winter 2022, she will be heading for Antarctica, a place she last visited in 2019.
