Italian shipyard CRN has revealed an 86-metre explorer vessel, designed in collaboration with Harrison Eidsgaard.

The yacht is designed for a specific owner in mind – for those looking to enjoy long voyages with family all across the globe, including remote locations.

CRN is partnering with the London designer to design a vessel that returns to the core values of the company, according to CRN chief commercial officer Stefano De Vivo.

De Vivo said: “Versatility, functionality, and elegance are the core features of our shipyard’s timeless yachts. Our close cooperation with leading international designers like Harrison Eidsgaard allows us to propose explorer yachts that have always been part of our DNA… With Harrison Eisdgaard, we now want to go back to those values that have led us to be what we are today. We are really excited about this new cooperation, which has resulted in a very original concept.”

The yacht features specific areas to house toys and tenders, with a forward davit capable of lifting tenders up to 50 tonnes.

All of its guest areas have been designed to ensure a direct view of the sea – this was the starting point of the design. The owner’s deck is also surrounded by a full-length terrace.

A spokesman for Harrison Eidsgaard said: “We have developed an explorer yacht capable of ensuring great functionality and ease of use while also boasting stylish exterior lines and spacious areas in direct contact with the sea, so as to meet future owners’ passion and love.

“Unprecedented, state-of-the-art solutions like the ones found on board this yacht are the result of the long-standing experience and expertise of a historical shipyard like CRN.”
