Tansu Ceylan sold

The 35.2 metre Tansu expedition yacht Ceylan has been sold to a new owner.

Ceylan was built at Tansu’s Istanbul shipyard and delivered to its original owner in 2010. It was put back on the market in at the start of 2018.

The yacht was listed for sale with Sofi Yacht charter broker Baris-Alev Semiz and the buyer was introduced to the brokerage by Alain Auvare of Onboard Yachting. The yacht was listed for sale at a price of €6,450,000.

Ceylan is constructed from steel and aluminium and was an entirely in-house project — building the yacht and also designing both the interior and exterior. It can accommodate 10 guests in five separate cabins, comprising one master suite, two doubles and two twin cabins.

The upper deck features a bar and seating. The middle deck features a master suite and wood panelled meeting room. Two tenders can be store on board at the aft of the yacht.

Twin caterpillar 1300 HP engines propel the yacht to a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots.
