Sailing yacht Galileo was sold by Northrop and Johnson Sales Brokers Jochen Brill, who represented the buyer and Joost Goverts and Michael Nethersole, who represented the seller.

Galileo is equipped and ready to circumnavigate the world. The custom sailing yacht was built in 1989 by the renowned Palmer Johnson. She is in top condition thanks to her captain, owner and a refit in 2011.

Galileo’s interior is exquisite, showcasing matte-varnished teak, fine cabinetry and images of Galileo the astronomer carved into the backs of the chairs. She welcomes seven guests in three spacious and beautifully appointed staterooms; these include a master suite, a double-bed stateroom and a twin-bed stateroom.

The sailing yacht’s vast deck space offers comfort while cruising, allowing guests to enjoy shaded areas as well as become sun-kissed in uncovered areas. Galileo’s aft deck is able to carry two tenders allowing for its foredeck to be uncluttered.
